Square Enix’s Financial Year Is Off To A Strong Start, With Profits On The Up And Up

Every Cloud…Square Enix has shared its latest financial report for the first quarter of the fiscal year (thanks for the heads up, Automaton), and what do you know, profits are up — substantially so.The report shows that the company’s operating profit in the three-month period ending June 2026 came in at ¥17,008 million, an 88.6% rise since the same quarter last year. All parts of the business helped contribute to the increase, though the Digital Entertainment (games) sector made up the lion’s share, with a 51.8% increase in net sales and a 91.8% increase in operating profit.Read the full article on nintendolife.com
